Mr. Francisco Zomer (In memoriam) was a natural entrepreneur who turned vision into reality. In 1967, he founded Plaszom Embalagens, which has grown into one of Brazil’s leading packaging companies. With a forward-thinking mindset, he expanded operations, diversified product lines across industries, and led strategic acquisitions. Ahead of his time, he built a legacy that remains deeply embedded in the Group’s culture: a constant focus on the future, driven by innovation, modernization, sustainability, community engagement, and respect for people.

Sustainability
At FCO Group, sustainability is a guiding principle in the development of our solutions. We believe innovation and environmental responsibility must go hand in hand, delivering high-performance products while contributing to a more efficient material lifecycle.
Through continuous investment in technology and R&D, we develop solutions that support the circular economy, such as recyclable films, monomaterial structures, and post-consumer recycled (PCR) content.
These innovations enable reduced production steps, optimized resource use, and reintegration of materials into the value chain. More than keeping pace with market changes, our goal is to actively contribute to a more responsible production model—where quality, efficiency, and environmental respect coexist.
